Ahluwalia is an independent London-based fashion label founded by Priya Ahluwalia. The brand sits at the intersection of culture, community and craft, and has built a global reputation for its collaborative approach and considered creative vision.

We are looking for a Brand and Partnerships Lead to sit at the intersection of brand strategy and commercial partnerships. This is a role for someone who can both develop strategy and execute it, who thinks creatively about the brand, proactively identifies the next move rather than waiting to be directed, and has a proven track record of building partnerships that generate real income. You'll be responsible for bringing ideas to life and for the commercial relationships that make them possible.

THE ROLE

Reporting directly to the founder, the Brand and Partnerships Manager will work closely with Priya on brand strategy and lead the partnerships programme. You will be a creative thinker and a confident relationship builder, comfortable moving between big picture thinking and the detail of execution.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work with the founder on generating brand strategy, positioning and key seasonal moments.
  • Lead the partnerships programme end-to-end: identifying opportunities, pitching, negotiating, contracting and executing, acting as the main point of contact for all brand partners and external collaborators.
  • Manage partnership budgets and contracts, ensuring all activity is delivered on time and on brief.
  • Contribute to campaign planning and ensure partnerships and marketing projects are integrated meaningfully across all brand touchpoints, including but not limited to website, socials and wider brand communications.
  • Act as brand guardian, ensuring consistency and integrity across all areas of the business.
  • Support press and VIP activity alongside the PR office, Karla Otto.
  • Define, track and report on brand and partnership performance, mapping goals across 3-month and 6-month horizons and identifying opportunities for growth.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform brand positioning and partnership strategy.
  • Oversee the brand team, including the Brand and Marketing Coordinator, ensuring performance data, reporting, and admin are feeding accurately into the wider brand strategy, and day-to-day priorities are clear.
  • Work cross-functionally with the design and development teams to ensure brand projects and special initiatives are aligned and on track.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Experience in brand management and partnerships within fashion, culture or creative industries.
  • Analytical and strategic, with experience setting measurable goals and tracking performance across brand and commercial activity.
  • Agency or fast-paced brand environment experience with a strong understanding of how to manage competing priorities.
  • A genuine ideas person who thinks 360 and connects creative and commercial dots, bringing solutions that move the business forward and make sense both culturally and commercially.
  • Hot on culture with a sharp eye for what is relevant, emerging and aligned with the Ahluwalia world.
  • A strong black book of contacts across brand, agency and industry.
  • Confident in pitching ideas and projects, negotiating and managing contracts and budgets end-to-end.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to influence and align both internal teams and external partners.
  • Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities without losing attention to detail.
  • Comfortable working closely with a founder in a small, high-ownership environment.
  • Self-directed, commercially aware and proud of the craft of what they do.
