Alfred H Knight has an exciting opportunity for an ICP Manager to join our team here in Liverpool, UK. The core purpose of this role is to support the departments by ensuring clear communication within the ICP team and with wider AHK stakeholders across the PM and PGM Laboratories. It includes maintaining traceable record-keeping in line with AHK’s ISO 17025 accreditation, supporting staff development, and managing general departmental organisation. The ICP department provides a critical service to our wet chemistry laboratories, analysing the assay solutions they have generated through various dissolution techniques, quantitatively for the elements requested by the clients.

- Experience creating and validating instrument methods.
- Additional spectrometer knowledge (AAS, Spark-OES etc.) would be beneficial.
- Experience working in the materials assaying industry would be beneficial.
- A minimum GCSE equivalent education, though science degree preferable.
