On Site Sampler in Selby

Alfred H Knight is recruiting an On Site Sampler for our Selby, UK team. The role is part of the Drax Sample & Sample Preparation Team and involves sampling, sample preparation, and laboratory testing of wood pellets.

Responsibilities

• Undertake sampling and sample preparation duties in line with AHKES methods and procedures.
• Conduct laboratory based physical testing of wood pellets for particle size, bulk density and mechanical durability.
• Collect samples from customer sites/ports and deliver them to AHK preparation facilities.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication, administrative and IT skills.
• Highly organised with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to clearly inform others.
• Strong relationship building skills internally and externally.
• Highly motivated with the ability to work on own initiative in a dynamic work environment with changing priorities.

Required Experience

• Experience in sampling and sample preparation.
• Valid Clean UK Driving Licence.
• IOSH Managing Safely Course.
• Safety Passport.
