Alfred H Knight has a fantastic, brand-new opportunity for a Senior Project Manager to join our team at our modern Head Office in Prescot (Liverpool). We are currently embarking on an ambitious, global journey of modernisation and technology investment. This is a permanent role where you will play a key part in designing, building, and leading complex, large-scale transformation projects across our international network. The focus is on driving performance, improving efficiencies, and helping teams work smarter by providing the tools they need.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND WORK EXPERIENCE
- Proven Track Record: Demonstrable experience in IT Project Management, with visible progression into senior positions.
- Global Transformation: Extensive experience delivering complex, large-scale global transformation projects and programmes.
- Global Perspective: Experience navigating international delivery pressures, multi-layered workstreams, and cross-functional global teams.
- Framework Flexibility: Strong knowledge of Agile (Scrum/Kanban) and traditional Waterfall, with the ability to manage hybrid models.
- Tooling Ecosystems: Proficiency with enterprise project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, or Asana.
Required Competencies
- Resilience & Drive: Adaptable, delivery-focused approach with strong attention to priorities, execution, and follow-through.
- Mentorship & Collaboration: Calm, supportive approach under pressure, with a passion for coaching, mentoring, and supporting junior PMs and the PMO function.
- Strategic Communication: Excellent relationship-building skills, with the ability to collaborate confidently with technical and non-technical stakeholders and to communicate clear project value to senior executives.
- Exceptional Organisation: Natural ability to coordinate complex risks, dependencies, and resource allocations effectively.

- Educated to degree level or equivalent.
- PRINCE2 Foundation/Practitioner, APM PMQ, or an equivalent Agile certification is preferred.
