WHAT IS ON OFFER

Alfred H Knight has an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and passionate Apprenticeship Tutor to deliver apprenticeship standards as part of our self-provider provision. The main purpose of this role is to plan, deliver, and assess high-quality training to apprentices, ensuring compliance with all funding and quality requirements. This is a great opportunity for someone with a background in teaching, training, or assessing who wants to play a key role in shaping learners\’ futures.

Your main responsibility will be to provide engaging and inclusive training, coaching, and assessments, supporting apprentices to develop the knowledge, skills, and behaviours they need to succeed. You will tailor learning sessions to individual needs and employer requirements, tracking progress and providing feedback to ensure apprentices achieve timely success. In addition, you will prepare apprentices for their End-Point Assessment (EPA) and ensure all gateway requirements are met, all while maintaining strong collaborative partnerships with colleagues and senior leaders. Finally, you will need to keep up to date with your own professional knowledge and undertake continuous professional development (CPD) to meet all regulatory and sector requirements.

Required Knowledge and Work Experience

  • Essential
  • Experience delivering apprenticeships or vocational training.
  • Strong knowledge of apprenticeship standards and compliance requirements.

  • Strong organizational skills for effective lesson planning, marking, and classroom management.

    • Understanding of and adherence to all safeguarding policies and procedures to ensure student well-being.
    • Ability to recognize and respond to the individual needs of students, including those with special educational needs.

Required Work Experience

  • Experience delivering apprenticeships or vocational training.
  • Experience with Ofsted inspections and ESFA audit requirements is desirable.
  • Knowledge of e-portfolio and learner management systems is desirable

Required Qualifications

  • A recognized teaching or assessing qualification (e.g., A1, CAVA, TAQA, PTLLS/DTLLS/Cert Ed/PGCE, or equivalent).
