Purpose: To manage the planning, delivery, monitoring, and evaluation of AHEAD International’s programmes in line with organisational objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, coordinate, and deliver programmes in line with agreed objectives, budgets, and timelines.
  • Monitor programme performance, impact, and outcomes using appropriate evaluation frameworks.
  • Coordinate operational staff, consultants, and volunteers involved in programme delivery.
  • Prepare progress reports for senior management, funders, and Trustees.
  • Support capacity‑building and training initiatives across programmes.
  • Ensure safeguarding, equality, and compliance standards are embedded in all programme activities.

Person Specification – Essential Qualifications and Experience:

  • Degree or equivalent professional qualification in Project Management, International Development, Public Health, Social Sciences, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience managing programmes or projects within a charity, NGO, or public sector organisation.
  • Proven experience of programme planning, delivery, monitoring, and evaluation.
  • Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams and working with senior managers.
  • Knowledge of safeguarding, equality, diversity and inclusion, and compliance standards in the voluntary sector.
  • Strong report writing, data analysis, and presentation skills.
  • Excellent organisational and time‑management skills.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English.
