The Role: To facilitate and maintain the highest operational standards across the Fosdyke Factory by ensuring the best current work method, for achieving quality, cost, and delivery whilst above all maintaining safety, is in place; providing timely training and assessment of operational colleagues in line with their job descriptions and our food and safety standards; implement policy requirements, practices, and training to ensure best practice, legal and technical compliance, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with team leaders to assess against competent SSOW and procedures and ensure core operational skills are demonstrated in full to the required standards.
- Highlight current and future skills and competencies gaps to ensure maximum service delivery is achieved.
- Supporting colleagues in closing their skills gaps against relevant and required training and assessment models.
- Perform regular process audits / layered confirmation to ensure adherence to standards.
- Accurate record keeping for all assessment activities to ensure audit compliance and provision of reports to track progress.
- Participate and contribute to projects to meet operational goals and objectives; Lead activities to continuously improve work methods.
We are looking for:
Essential:
- Previous experience operating at Section Leader, Supervisor, QC or QA.
- Thorough understanding of SSOW/SOP’s.
- Thorough understanding of Food Hygiene.
- The ability to assess competence post-training accurately and efficiently in a manufacturing environment.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to command a room and present information at all levels.
Desirable:
- Previous experience as a Trainer or Training officer.
- Train The Trainer Certified.
- CIPD L3 in People Practice.
- Ability to speak multiple languages is highly desirable.
