The Role:
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Forklift Driver to work in our Despatch area servicing our production team and loading trailers. It is essential that you always follow GMP (good manufacturing practice).
Key Responsibilities:
- Picking orders
- Loading trailers
- Serving the production team and handling pallets
- Communicating with Quality Control
- Liaising with lorry drivers to complete paperwork and documentation
- Reporting risks and accidents and undertaking action to prevent accident
We are looking for:
- Have FLT driving experience within warehouse environment
- You must have a current forklift licence
- Knowledge of a logistical processes and how products should be handled
- A good eye for detail and a sense of accountability, particularly in relation to health and safety
- Willing to follow the required quality and hygiene standards
- Self-motivated and flexible
- Ability to work well as a part of the team
