The Opportunity

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established community pharmacy group for an experienced and motivated

Pharmacist Manager to join one of their Liverpool branches.

This is an excellent opportunity for a pharmacist who is looking to take ownership of a busy community pharmacy, lead a team effectively and play a key role in delivering high-quality patient care and pharmacy services.

The successful candidate will be a confident pharmacy professional with strong leadership skills, a patient-focused approach and the ability to manage the day-to-day operation of a community pharmacy safely and efficiently

Key Responsibilities

  • Take overall responsibility for the safe and effective operation of the pharmacy.
  • Act as the Responsible Pharmacist, ensuring all legal, professional and regulatory requirements are met.
  • Lead, motivate and develop the pharmacy team, creating a positive and supportive working environment.
  • Ensure the safe and efficient supply of medicines and provide professional advice to patients and healthcare professionals.
  • Deliver and promote a range of clinical and public health pharmacy services.
  • Support the development of the pharmacy's services and patient offering.
  • Maintain excellent standards of patient care, customer service and professional practice.
  • Manage stock, controlled drugs, SOPs, audits and pharmacy processes effectively.
  • Work closely with the wider healthcare team and local healthcare professionals.
  • Ensure the pharmacy remains compliant with relevant GPh C, NHS and company standards.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, efficiency and patient outcomes.
  • Support and develop the wider pharmacy team through coaching, training and effective delegation.

About You

We are looking for a qualified pharmacist with previous community pharmacy management experience , ideally with experience in a supervisory or management capacity.

You will ideally have

  • GPh C registration and the right to practise in the UK.
  • Previous experience working within a community pharmacy environment.
  • Strong clinical knowledge and a commitment to delivering excellent patient care.
  • Proven leadership and team-management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • A commercial and customer-focused mindset.
  • The confidence to work autonomously and make sound professional decisions.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and service development.
