We are recruiting an experienced and motivated Pharmacist on behalf of our client on Isle Of Wight. This is an excellent opportunity to join a patient-focused pharmacy team, delivering high-quality pharmaceutical care and supporting the health needs of the local community.
Key Responsibilities
- Dispense prescriptions accurately and in accordance with legal and professional standards
- Provide expert advice on medicines, health conditions, and healthy living
- Ensure compliance with GPhC regulations and company SOPs
- Deliver excellent customer service and build strong patient relationships
- Supervise and support pharmacy staff, including technicians and assistants
- Manage stock levels, ordering, and safe storage of medicines
- Provide NHS and private services where applicable (e.g. MURs, NMS, vaccinations)
- Maintain clear and accurate patient records
- Promote the pharmacy’s services within the local community
Requirements
- MPharm degree or equivalent
- Registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
- Previous experience in a community or clinical pharmacy setting preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- Commitment to patient care and professional development
