TRAIN CLEANER | EAST LONDON | FULL-TIME | £14.80 P/H
We are currently recruiting for a Train Cleaner to join one of our client's teams at a train depot in East London. This is an ongoing cleaning role working Monday to Friday.
Pay Rate: £14.80 per hour (paid fortnightly)
Working Schedule:
Monday to Friday
9:00am - 4:00pm
Key Responsibilities:
- Cleaning trains to a high standard
- Cleaning between and underneath train seats and other hard-to-reach areas
- Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming train floors
- Cleaning windows, doors, handrails, tables, and other surfaces
- Emptying bins and disposing of waste correctly
- Cleaning toilets and other passenger areas
- Sanitising touchpoints and high-traffic areas
- Following cleaning schedules and procedures
- Using cleaning equipment and products safely and correctly
- Reporting any maintenance or health & safety concerns
- Ensuring all cleaning duties are completed to a high standard
Ideal Candidate:
- Previous cleaning experience preferred but not essential
- Reliable and punctual
- Proactive and hardworking
- Good attention to detail
- Flexible and willing to support with different cleaning duties as required
- Comfortable carrying out detailed cleaning, including between and underneath seats
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Good understanding of health & safety procedures
- Comfortable with manual cleaning tasks and being on your feet throughout the shift
- Willing to get stuck in and maintain a high standard of cleanliness
Plese note: A drug and alcohol test is mandatory for this role. Candidates must pass the test before they can be cleared to work on site.
