GROUND MAINTENANCE OPERATIVE | £135 - £155 PER DAY | BRIGHTON | FULL TIME
We are currently recruiting for Ground Maintenance / De-Vegetation Operatives to work across Brighton. This is a physically demanding, outdoor role working as part of a team to deliver vegetation clearance and maintenance works to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Carrying out vegetation clearance on various sites
- Supporting tree surgeons and climbing teams
- Strimming, brush cutting, and hedge cutting
- Use of woodchippers and other plant equipment
- Clearing and disposing of green waste
- Preparing and maintaining safe work sites
- Assisting with site set-up, barriers, and signage
- NPTC CS30 & CS31 (preferred)
- Woodchipper certification (preferred)
- Brush cutter and hedge cutter experience
- Previous experience in grounds maintenance or de-vegetation
- Good understanding of health & safety on site
- Physically fit and able to work outdoors in all weather
- Reliable and punctual
