We are seeking a hands-on Technical QA/UAT Consultant for a short-term engagement to help establish a robust testing framework for our product. This consultant will play a crucial role in defining our Quality Assurance and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) process and selecting and configuring the appropriate tools. The goal is to create a system that can be handed over to a Virtual Assistant (VA) for ongoing, repeatable execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate current product testing workflows and identify gaps.
  • Design and document a streamlined QA/UAT process tailored to a low-code or non-technical VA user.
  • Recommend and setup appropriate tooling for automated and manual testing (e.g., testcase management, bug tracking, simple automation suites).
  • Create templates, SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures), and test scripts/check lists for daily testing.
  • Train internal team members (and eventually the VA) on using the new process and tools effectively.
  • Provide recommendations for ongoing QA best practices and scalable improvements.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in QA/UAT for SaaS or digital products.
  • Strong understanding of testing methodologies, particularly for lean/agile teams.
  • Hands-on experience setting up QA tools (e.g. TestRail, Xray, Zephyr, Postman, Cypress, BrowserStack, etc.).
  • Ability to translate technical processes into accessible, documented procedures.
  • Experience working with or delegating to non-technical or offshore VA teams.
  • Self-starter with excellent communication and documentation skills.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with no-code/low-code platforms or tools.
  • Familiarity with VA onboarding and SOP creation.
  • Knowledge of product-led growth and iterative product testing cycles.

Deliverables:

  • Defined QA/UAT process flow.
  • Fully configured testing tool suite with documentation.
  • SOPs and daily testing checklist/template for VA use.
  • One-time training session or video walkthrough for internal onboarding.
