We have an exciting opportunity at AGS Airports Limited for a Fixed Term HR Co‑ordinator to join our HR team.
This is a 12 month, full time role and will be based at Glasgow Airport.

Job Description
To provide comprehensive support to the HR department and employees of AGS Airports including colleagues within Group functions, Glasgow Airport, Aberdeen International Airport and Southampton International Airport.
Including, but not limited to recruitment and selection, ID pass applications and renewals, absence management, maintenance and enhancements of the HR system including electronic employee records, payroll & benefits administrator, process improvements, general HR administration and policy application.
- Principle accountabilities
- Adhere to GDPR legislation and maintain complete confidentiality at all times
- Respond to general queries from employees, managers and wider HR teams, taking personal ownership for resolving issues and knowing how and when to elevate when appropriate
- Provide guidance to the HR Business Partners and employees on the application of company policy and pay procedures to ensure compliance and consistent application
- Provide administrative support for the full Recruitment cycle, including referencing and on‑boarding
- As an authorised signatory, ensure all documentation processed for ID pass applications and pass renewals are fully compliant with the ID Security standards and Df T guidelines in order to minimise the risk to the airports
- As an authorised signatory, ensure all documentation received in relation to Criminal Record Checks and Counter Terrorist Checks are fully compliant and that any disqualifying offences are dealt with swiftly
- Co‑ordinate and provide HR induction for new employees and newly appointed managers
- Ensure all data is accurately input to the HR System in time for payroll run each month
- Experienced in dealing with a monthly transactional service, including first level payroll queries, ensuring SLA’s are always achieved
- Adhere to set deadlines for routine monthly tasks
- Carry out audits, as and when required, to ensure HR System is always up to date and that controls framework are adhered to
- Ensure all HR processes are followed accurately and timely, in line with Service Specification
- Continually review the processes and control frameworks to ensure fit for purpose
- Provide support to the business at “super – user” level for the HR and payroll modules of the ERP system
- Weekly, monthly and ad hoc reporting on key HR metrics
- Management of invoicing, raising purchase orders, purchase requisitions and other departmental financial administrative tasks for the full HR team
- Ensure the Learning Management System is updated to reflect change in personnel data
- Cross skilled in payroll & benefits administration to offer help during busier times or to cover leave within the wider HR Central Services team
Qualifications and experience
- CIPD Qualification or equivalent work experience
- Good educational background, good standard of written and spoken English essential
- Computer literate, familiarity with Microsoft Office applications, as well as experience using an ERP system
- Numerate, able to manipulate, analyse and present data, to provide meaningful management information
- Expert Excel user with strong attention to detail
- Ability to work flexibly on both routine and more complex tasks
- Ability to prioritise own workload and deal with conflicting priorities
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and proactive in offering assistance to colleagues
- Keen to look for ways to continually improve the Recruitment, HR & Payroll processes and play an active role in improving the service to the business
