Summary

Olam Agri is seeking an experienced Regional Sales Manager, EU & UK to drive the expansion of its rice portfolio across European markets, with a strong focus on the private label sector.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a three-year strategic roadmap for business growth across the EU and UK.
  • Identify new market opportunities and white spaces across European markets.
  • Develop private label product propositions for major retailers based on market trends, including sustainable, organic, and premium products.

Requirements

  • 10–15 years of experience in global trade, preferably within the FMCG or commodity sector.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in International Business, Economics, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of EU import duties, Tariff-Rate Quotas (TRQs), and food labelling regulations.
  • Ability to work effectively across diverse European markets and cultures.
  • Fluency in English at native or business level.
  • Proficiency in a second European language, such as Dutch, German, French, or Spanish, is highly desirable.
  • Willingness to travel extensively across the EU and UK.
