Are you seeking to further your career with a leading, long established and well respected premier agricultural machinery dealership? This exciting new role will give you the opportunity to sell a wide range of equipment from the leading franchises, backed up by some of the best support in the industry. De Lacy Executive seek an enthusiastic, highly motivated and dynamic B2C salesperson to join their clients team in the East Midlands.

Ideal candidates will have previous experience selling to farmers within an agricultural environment and possess a good working knowledge and keen interest in farm machinery. You will visit existing clients and farmers on a regular basis and assess customer needs. Through your current knowledge of financing options you will assist customers with securing the purchase of new and used goods, implement the goods delivery and follow up. You will thrive on developing and building relationships with new customers and contribute to developing the market within your designated territory.

Candidate Requirements

  • Good knowledge of agricultural equipment and farming operational practices
  • Proven B2C sales experience, previous agricultural machinery or equipment sales is highly desirable
  • Excellent customer service skills, both face to face and over the telephone, with the ability to build strong customer relationships
  • Ability to conduct new equipment field demonstrations
  • Self-motivated and able to work under own initiative
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Full UK driving license
