A prestigious private members’ sports club is seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Head Grounds Person to lead its dedicated grounds team. This is an excellent opportunity to take responsibility for the maintenance and presentation of tennis and sports facilities, ensuring surfaces and grounds are maintained to the highest possible standards. You will oversee a small, skilled team, delivering exceptional quality, presentation and performance for members and guests throughout the year.

The club provides a premium environment for racquet sports and leisure, supported by a dedicated team of professionals who take pride in delivering excellence.
The Candidate:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a senior groundskeeping role, ideally within a racquets or sports club environment
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in Turf Management or Grounds Maintenance
- Proven expertise in grass court management and multi-surface maintenance
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing a small team
- Excellent knowledge of irrigation, drainage, and grounds machinery operation
- Valid PA1, PA2, and PA6 spraying certificates
- Flexible approach with the ability to work early mornings, weekends, and during key events
The Package:
- Salary £45,–£55, per annum DOE
- Full-time, 40 hours per week (6:30am–2:30pm)
