This is a newly created, permanent position at the centre of the yard. Working closely with the Farm Manager, you’ll take responsibility for keeping the yard and workshop running like a well‑oiled machine—organised, efficient, and ready for whatever the season throws at it. It’s a hands‑on role for someone who’s as comfortable on the tools as they are in a tractor seat, especially when harvest pressure kicks in.
Key Responsibilities:
- Day to day running and organisation of a busy farm yard
- Grain store management, including weighbridge operations
- Grain drying and monitoring during harvest
- Workshop duties, maintenance and repair of farm machinery
- Tractor driving and general support during peak periods
- Liaising with farm staff and contractors
- Maintaining high standards across yard and equipment

- Strong practical and mechanical ability

Candidate Requirements:
