We are working with a well established and highly regarded firm to recruit a Senior Surveyor. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering estate management and professional services to a portfolio of private clients, with a high level of autonomy and responsibility. You will provide advice across a broad range of rural property matters, including estate management, landlord and tenant issues, valuations, diversification and development projects, lettings, and utility or compensation work. The role also involves collaborating with colleagues across the business, representing the company at industry events, and contributing to wider strategic initiatives. Alongside managing existing client relationships, you will play a key role in business development maintaining a strong pipeline of work, identifying new opportunities and supporting the continued growth of the business.
The Candidate:
- RICS accredited (MRICS) with a minimum of 5 years PQE
- Strong experience within estate management or a similar role
- In-depth knowledge of rural property and associated professional services
- Excellent organisational and planning skills
- Strong IT skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
- Self motivated, trustworthy, and hardworking
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexible and proactive, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Full UK driving licence
