We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Consultant to join a team in the South West, covering Somerset, Devon, West Wiltshire, and Dorset. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in consultancy, with expertise in the livestock and financial sectors. A knowledge of dairy and livestock is highly desirable.
The Candidate:
- Providing independent and practical advice to farmers on a one-to-one basis.
- Conducting detailed business reviews to identify areas for improvement.
- Developing and implementing business plans to help farmers achieve their goals.
- Assisting farmers in identifying and accessing relevant funding streams.
- Providing advice on herd health, genetics, and nutrition.
- Conducting financial analysis and providing advice on cash flow management.
- Providing guidance on compliance with environmental and other regulations.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and other stakeholders.
- Keeping up to date with changes in the industry and sharing knowledge with clients and colleagues.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in consultancy, with a strong understanding of the livestock and financial sectors. They will be able to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and other stakeholders, and will be comfortable working independently to deliver results.
Key requirements:

- Knowledge of dairy and livestock highly desirable.
