An established poultry equipment supplier is seeking an experienced Sales & Technical Manager to support continued business growth across the UK. This is a dual‑purpose role combining technical expertise with consultative sales, working closely with poultry producers to design, supply, and support equipment solutions. The role involves managing projects from initial enquiry through to installation and commissioning, while providing ongoing technical support and maintaining long‑term customer relationships. You will act as a trusted technical advisor, ensuring solutions meet welfare, efficiency, and operational requirements.

Our client is a long‑established, family‑run business supplying poultry equipment to laying hen, broiler, and breeder operations throughout the UK. Known for its practical, hands‑on approach, the business has built a strong reputation based on technical knowledge, tailored solutions, and long‑term customer relationships.

The Candidate

  • Proven experience within poultry production, poultry equipment or agricultural technology
  • Strong technical understanding of poultry housing systems, including lighting, climate, controls and equipment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer focused mindset
  • Ability to manage multiple projects from design through to delivery
  • Confident working independently while contributing to a close‑knit team
  • Practical, problem‑solving approach with strong attention to detail
  • Willingness to travel regularly to customer sites
  • Full UK driving licence essential.
