Our client is recruiting a Ruminant Sales Specialist to manage and grow an established customer base across North Yorkshire and Lancashire. The role is focused on delivering profitable feed sales while acting as a trusted technical and commercial advisor to dairy, beef, and sheep producers. You will be responsible for developing long-term relationships, driving volume and margin, and supporting customers with practical, results-led nutritional solutions. This is a field-based role requiring strong technical credibility, commercial discipline, and the ability to influence decision-makers on farm.

The Candidate
- Proven experience in ruminant feed sales (dairy, beef, and/or sheep)
- Strong understanding of ruminant nutrition, forage utilisation and on farm performance drivers
- Ability to build and retain long-term farmer relationships based on trust and results
- Commercial mindset with experience managing territory performance, margin and volume
- Confidence working independently across a large geographic patch
- Strong communication and influencing skills with farmers, farm managers and decision makers
- Organised, self motivated and comfortable working to targets and KPIs
