Agricultural Contracting Team Leader - Dumfries and Galloway, Scotland - £40,000-£50,000 + Overtime Bonus + Benefits
The Job:
- Lead and coordinate agricultural contracting teams and daily workloads
- Operate modern agricultural machinery across a range of contracting operations
- Carry out fieldwork including grassland, silage, cultivation, drilling, mowing, baling and harvesting
- Plan workloads, machinery and labour to ensure jobs are completed efficiently
- Liaise with farmers and customers to ensure work is delivered to a high standard
- Support machinery maintenance, health & safety and seasonal planning
- Travel regionally to customer farms and contracting sites

The Candidate:
- Proven experience within agricultural contracting
- Strong practical knowledge of agricultural machinery and farm operation
- Confident operating tractors and a range of modern farm machinery
- Experience across several contracting operations, including cultivation, grassland, silage or harvesting
- Previous team leadership or supervisory experience would be advantageous
- Reliable, organised and able to work effectively under pressure
- Full UK driving licence
- Flexible approach to seasonal working hours and regional travel
The Package:
- Salary £40,000-£50,000 per annum DOE

Candidate Requirements
All applicants must hold a minimum of an NVQ Level 2, Scottish NVQ Level 2, or an equivalent qualification relevant to the role applied for. Candidates must also have the legal right to work in the UK or hold a valid visa permitting employment.
