A growing agricultural business is seeking a field-based Sales Representative to develop and manage sales of dairy equipment, feed products, and related agri solutions across County Down or County Armagh. This is a hands-on, farm-facing role where building trust and long-term relationships with farmers and dealers is key.
Key Responsibilities- Sell dairy equipment and feed products directly to farmers and through dealer channels
- Build and manage a portfolio of dairy and livestock customers
- Develop new business opportunities while maintaining existing accounts
- Advise farmers on product suitability and usage
- Maintain a structured sales pipeline and achieve agreed sales targets
- Conduct farm visits, product demonstrations, and attend agricultural events
- Provide market and customer feedback to support product development

The Candidate- Experience in agricultural sales or a strong farming background with commercial drive
- Practical knowledge of dairy and/or livestock farming systems
- Confidence engaging directly with farmers and dealers
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated, organised, and comfortable working independently
- Experience selling dairy equipment, feed, or agricultural inputs
- Background in animal husbandry, herdspersonship, or farm management
- Understanding of dealer-led sales models
Basic salary £30,000–£40,000 depending on experience. Commission: 4% of sales above agreed threshold. Company vehicle or car allowance. Phone, laptop, and sales tools provided. High level of autonomy with clear earning potential. Long-term opportunity within a well-respected agricultural business.
