We are seeking a General Farm Worker for a mixed 11,000 acres of Arable and Livestock – Cattle & Pigs. This is a permanent, full time role offering year round work, covering both tractor operations, arable and livestock.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Harvesting
  • Operating tractors or farm equipment
  • Support with Cattle / Pigs: Carry out fencing, yard work and general farm maintenance
  • Maintain buildings, tracks and infrastructure
  • Assist across all areas of the farm as required
  • Follow all health & safety and biosecurity procedures

The Candidate:

  • Previous experience in farming or agricultural work
  • Ability to operate tractors and farm machinery
  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail
  • Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in all conditions
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Experience working with cattle and pigs

The Package:

  • Salary £46,800 DOE
  • 60 hours a week in Harvest, depending on the needs of the business
  • No accommodation, but can support with this if needed

All applicants must hold a minimum of an NVQ Level 2, Scottish NVQ Level 2, or an equivalent qualification relevant to the role applied for. Candidates must also have the legal right to work in the UK or hold a valid visa permitting employment.
