Fertiliser Sales Manager – East Midlands. Salary £35,000 – £45,000 + Car + Uncapped Commission + career progression opportunities.
The Role: An established and market-leading agricultural supplies company is seeking a dynamic Fertiliser Sales Manager who is FACTS qualified to join their Midlands team. Reporting to the Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing sales of fertiliser products across a defined territory, building strong relationships with farm customers, offering technical support on fertiliser usage, and achieving agreed sales targets.
Responsibilities
- Proactively grow and manage a portfolio of customers – farms, contractors, etc.
- Identify new business opportunities and follow up on leads
- Provide technical advice as required: fertiliser types, application rates, timing, etc.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure excellent service (delivery, stock, credit, etc.)
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and feedback to inform commercial decisions
- Travel frequently within your territory; some overnight stays may be required
The Person
- Previous experience in fertiliser, crop inputs, or agricultural products sales / agronomy support
- Strong technical understanding of fertilisers and soil / crop needs (highly advantageous)
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated, target driven, able to work independently and manage your own diary
- Full UK driving licence (essential)

- Salary circa £35,000 – £45,000 depending on experience
