We are currently recruiting for a Factory Operative to join our mill shift production team in Exeter. This is a hands-on role working across all production disciplines to ensure efficient and high-quality manufacturing output.
As a fully trained mill operator, you will be responsible for operating pressing and blending equipment within the mill, completing routine production tasks, and performing first-level fault finding and rectification on production plant machinery.
Key Responsibilities:- Operate the blend and press plants to contribute to manufacturing output.
- Monitor and maintain product quality standards at optimum output levels.
- Ensure all safe working practices are followed at all times.
- Maximise the efficient use of plant resources.
- Handle data input for OEE, SAP, and production records.
- Maintain a clean and tidy working environment and adhere to 5S working practices.
- Perform routine plant maintenance as required.
Full-time, 42 hours per week
Salary based on a 12-hour continental shift pattern
Current working hours: Monday – Friday, 8-hour rotating shifts
Days: 06:00 – 14:00
Lates: 14:00 – 22:00
Nights: 22:00 – 06:00
