The Job:
A rapidly growing organisation is looking for an experienced grower to join their team. Based in Norwich, this role will support commercial crop production and new product development (NPD) trials. You will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic team to optimise crop production and contribute to innovative trials that drive the company’s growth.
Reporting to the Agronomy Lead, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing crops to achieve high-quality produce. You will also play a key role in driving innovation by aligning system capabilities with the development of new product offerings. Other responsibilities include overseeing cultivation, pest and nutrient management, and ensuring overall plant health. Additionally, you will collect, analyse, and interpret agronomic data to support decision-making, present findings to internal teams and stakeholders, and identify opportunities for industry engagement to enhance the company’s market position.
The Candidate:
– An experienced Grower with strong commercial acumen
– A confident problem solver who can work autonomously
– Skilled in growing commercial baby leaf and herb crops
– Experienced in agribusiness, controlled environment agriculture, or food production
– Data-driven, with strong analytical abilities
