Full-Time Arable Operator – Driffield, East Yorkshire - £40,000 + Farmhouse

Responsibilities

  • Operate a Grimme GB215 potato planter and Varitron 270 harvester
  • Opportunities to carry out combining, drilling, cultivation, and spraying
  • General farm work as required

The Company

A medium sized, family run mixed farming business is seeking a Main Arable Operator to join their small, friendly team. The farm specialises in potatoes, cereals and also runs two broiler chicken units.

The Candidate

  • Have previous experience operating potato machinery
  • Be able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Have good attention to detail and strong workshop skills
  • Be willing to work long hours during busy periods
  • Hold PA1/PA2 and telehandler certificates (preferred)
