Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage landscaping teams on-site
- Ensure projects are delivered on time and to specification
- Interpret and work from detailed plans and construction drawings
- Oversee soft landscaping works, including planting, turfing, soil preparation, and establishment
- Support hard landscaping activities where required, including paving, fencing, and decking
- Maintain high standards of health and safety on-site
- Coordinate materials, plant, equipment, and deliveries
- Liaise professionally with clients, designers, site managers, and subcontractors
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to a positive site culture
Candidate
- Minimum 3–5 years' landscaping experience, including supervisory or leadership responsibilities
- Strong knowledge of soft landscaping practices, planting, turfing and soil preparation
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Excellent communication and team leadership skills
- Full UK Driving Licence (essential)
- CSCS Card (essential)
- SSSTS or SMSTS qualification (preferred)
- NPORS certification (preferred)
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum of an NVQ Level 2, Scottish NVQ Level 2, or an equivalent qualification relevant to the role applied for
- Legal right to work in the UK or hold a valid visa permitting employment
