This is a key coordination role supporting the movement, quality and availability of plant material across multiple production and growing sites. Reporting to the Nursery Manager, you will work closely with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure plant stock is delivered on time, meets required quality standards and is accurately tracked throughout the supply chain.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate plant allocations across multiple production and growing sites
  • Maintain accurate plant tracking systems and stock records
  • Manage logistics schedules to ensure timely movement of plant material
  • Monitor quality control processes and support plant health programmes
  • Produce reports on plant status, availability and supply risks
  • Liaise with suppliers, growers and technical teams to ensure clear communication and efficient delivery of plant material
  • Support the planning and coordination of plant supply to meet production requirements
  • Identify and resolve supply chain issues proactively to minimise disruption

Candidate Profile

  • Genuine interest in plants, horticulture and commercial growing operations
  • Strong organisational, planning and coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Confident communicator, capable of building relationships with suppliers, growers and internal stakeholders
  • Experience maintaining accurate records, tracking stock and producing reports
  • Proactive approach to problem solving with excellent attention to detail
  • Relevant qualification in Agriculture, Horticulture, Plant Science or a related discipline, or equivalent industry experience
  • Good IT skills and confidence working with plant tracking, stock management or reporting systems
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel as required

Salary and Benefits

  • Salary of £43,000 per annum
  • 40 hours per week, typically 8:00am – 5:00pm
  • 5% performance bonus
  • 25 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays
