An excellent opportunity has arisen for experienced Mechanical Engineers to join a market-leading UK manufacturing business. With two well-established production sites located close together in Fife, this company offers a dynamic working environment, genuine career progression, and the chance to work on a wide variety of machinery and systems. You will be part of a large, supportive engineering team that plays a key role in keeping production running efficiently across both sites. Key Responsibilities:
- Planned and reactive mechanical maintenance across a range of machinery
- Rapid fault-finding to minimise downtime and support production
- Planned preventative maintenance and lubrication schedules
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives
- Assisting with spare parts management and external contractors
- Monitoring equipment performance and liaising with operations teams
- Working on a 4 on / 4 off shift pattern (days and nights)
The Candidate:
- Time-served Mechanical Engineer with minimum Level 3 qualification
- 18th Edition desirable but not essential
- CMMS experience highly advantageous
- MHE experience/qualifications beneficial
- Strong communication skills in English (spoken & written)
- A team player with good decision-making skills and attention to detail
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, changing environment
