The Candidate:
- Degree-qualified (or equivalent) in Ecology, Environmental Science, or a related discipline
- Proven experience in ecological fieldwork and protected species surveys
- Holder of Natural England survey licences for at least two protected species
- Member (or working towards membership) of CIEEM
- Strong understanding of UK ecological legislation, policy, and best practice
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proactive, organised, and team-focused, with strong mentoring abilities
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel as required
Desirable:
- EPS mitigation licence application experience
- Familiarity with GIS systems (e.g., ArcGIS)
- Previous experience in multi-disciplinary environmental projects
- Interest in business development and client relationship management
