We are working with a number of progressive and well established fresh produce businesses across the UK who are seeking experienced Fruit Farm Managers to lead and develop their operations. These roles offer the opportunity to take full responsibility for fruit production across a range of crops including soft fruit, top fruit, and protected systems. You will play a key role in managing harvest performance, labour, crop quality, and overall farm efficiency within commercially driven environments. Positions are available across multiple locations, offering both hands on and strategic management responsibilities depending on the scale of the business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee day to day fruit farm operations, ensuring high standards of crop production
  • Manage and lead seasonal and permanent staff, often across large teams
  • Plan and deliver harvest operations, focusing on productivity, quality and efficiency
  • Monitor crop health, irrigation, nutrition and pest/disease control
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety, environmental and audit standards
  • Coordinate labour planning, rotas, and workforce management
  • Work closely with senior management, packhouse and commercial teams
  • Maintain accurate records and drive continuous improvement across the operation
The Candidate
  • Proven experience within fruit production (soft fruit, top fruit, or protected cropping)
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing teams, including seasonal labour
  • Good understanding of crop management, agronomy and harvest operations
  • Commercial awareness with a focus on productivity and quality
  • Organised, proactive and capable of working autonomously
  • Strong communication skills, able to manage diverse teams
  • Full UK driving licence
