Job Description:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Farm Manager to join a highly respected agricultural business at their breeder laying farm in North Lincoln. In this role, you will support the Farm Manager in maintaining high welfare and operational standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing ventilation, heating, lighting, feed and water systems to ensure optimal conditions for bird welfare.
- Keeping accurate farm records, including data on birds, feed and suppliers.
- Supervising and coordinating Farm Assistants to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Covering the Farm Manager during rest or holiday periods.
- Ensuring compliance with health, safety and hygiene standards.
This is a hands-on role, requiring strong leadership, decision-making skills and the ability to work independently when necessary.
