Job Description
A rapidly growing organisation in the controlled environment agriculture sector is seeking talented individuals to join its agronomy team based in Norwich. The role involves supporting commercial crop production and new product development (NPD) trials. You will work with a dynamic team to optimise crop production and contribute to innovative trials that support company growth.
Reporting to the Agronomy Lead, your responsibilities include designing, implementing, and managing crops to produce high-quality yields, overseeing cultivation, pest and nutrient management, and ensuring overall plant health. You will collect and analyse agronomic data to support decision-making, present findings to internal teams and stakeholders, and identify opportunities for industry engagement to enhance market position.
The Candidate
- Experienced Agronomist / Grower with strong commercial acumen
- Confident problem solver capable of working autonomously
- Skilled in growing commercial baby leaf and herb crops
- Experience in agribusiness, controlled environment agriculture, or food production
- Data-driven with strong analytical skills
