We are working with a progressive farming business looking to recruit a capable Farm Engineer to support the maintenance, repair and development of on‑farm machinery and equipment. This is a hands‑on role suited to someone practical, dependable and comfortable working in a busy agricultural environment where kit needs to run right the first time, especially through peak periods. The role is workshop and field‑based, requiring work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions. Key Responsibilities
- Carry out routine servicing, maintenance, and repairs across a wide range of agricultural machinery and equipment
- Diagnose faults and ensure timely, effective fixes to minimise downtime
- Inspect, remove, and replace components in line with manufacturer guidelines
- Support machinery builds, modifications, and improvements within the workshop
- Assist with fabrication and machining of parts where required
- Test mechanical, low‑voltage electrical, and pneumatic systems, recording findings accurately
- Maintain clear and accurate documentation of work carried out
- Plan and prioritise workload efficiently, particularly during busy seasonal periods
- Report faults, breakdowns, or safety concerns promptly
- Work in line with all health & safety requirements, taking responsibility for your own safety and that of others
- Use appropriate PPE at all times
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment

Candidate Requirements
