We are working with a progressive farming business looking to recruit a capable Farm Engineer to support the maintenance, repair and development of on‑farm machinery and equipment. Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out routine servicing, maintenance, and repairs across a wide range of agricultural machinery and equipment
  • Diagnose faults and ensure timely, effective fixes to minimise downtime
  • Inspect, remove, and replace components in line with manufacturer guidelines
  • Support machinery builds, modifications, and improvements within the workshop
  • Assist with fabrication and machining of parts where required
  • Test mechanical, low‑voltage electrical, and pneumatic systems, recording findings accurately
  • Maintain clear and accurate documentation of work carried out
  • Plan and prioritise workload efficiently, particularly during busy seasonal periods
  • Report faults, breakdowns, or safety concerns promptly
  • Work in line with all health & safety requirements, taking responsibility for your own safety and that of others

Candidate Requirements
