Experienced Tractor Driver - Spalding - £42,000 + Bonus + Benefits
The Job:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Experienced Tractor Driver to join the field operations team. You will play a key role in primary and secondary cultivations, crop establishment, harvest support and general field operations, helping to ensure vegetable and arable production runs efficiently throughout the season.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently operate modern, high horsepower tractors and heavy cultivation equipment
- Carry out primary and secondary cultivations, crop establishment and harvest related operations
- Use GPS and RTK auto steering systems to maintain accurate field standards
- Complete daily pre use machinery checks and routine servicing
- Identify and report machinery defects promptly
- Maintain accurate operational and field records using digital reporting systems
- Work closely with farm management and workshop teams to maintain high standards of field and machinery performance
- Follow all relevant health, safety and environmental procedures

The Candidate:
- Proven experience operating modern agricultural tractors and heavy cultivation machinery
- Competence using GPS guidance and auto steering systems
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Strong mechanical aptitude and a good understanding of machinery maintenance
- Excellent attention to detail and a strong focus on machine care
- Practical understanding of workshop safety and site health and safety requirements
- Flexible approach to working hours during busy seasonal periods
- PA1 & PA2 qualifications
- Valid Telehandler certificate
- Experience operating a Lexar/loader or similar agricultural machinery
- Experience with drills, planters, harvesters or other specialist agricultural equipment

Candidate Requirements
All applicants must hold a minimum of an NVQ Level 2, Scottish NVQ Level 2, or an equivalent qualification relevant to the role applied for. Candidates must also have the legal right to work in the UK or hold a valid visa permitting employment.
