Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Woodland Manager to join their growing team. This role is ideal for a forestry professional with expertise in woodland management, estate consultancy, and team leadership. The successful candidate will take a lead role in managing lowland forestry estates, securing new business opportunities, and mentoring junior team members.

Responsibilities include:

  • Developing woodland management strategies
  • Overseeing forestry contracts
  • Securing necessary permissions for operations
  • Exploring carbon initiatives, agroforestry, and Continuous Cover Forestry (CCF)
  • Maintaining strong client and stakeholder relationships

The Candidate:

  • Extensive experience in forestry and woodland management

  • Chartered status (or working towards it) with the Institute of Chartered Foresters (ICF) is desirable
