An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Horticulturist to join a leading garden maintenance team working across some of London's most prestigious private gardens, courtyards and roof terraces. This role is suited to someone with excellent plant knowledge, a strong eye for detail and the ability to lead by example while maintaining exceptional horticultural standards. You will play a key role in delivering high quality garden maintenance while supporting and mentoring junior team members.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver high-quality garden maintenance across multiple sites
- Maintain prestigious private gardens, courtyards and roof terraces to exceptional standards
- Supervise, support and mentor junior horticulturists
- Diagnose plant health issues and implement appropriate treatments
- Carry out seasonal horticultural tasks including pruning, planting, training and plant care
- Operate horticultural machinery, tools and equipment safely and effectively
- Ensure gardens are presented to the highest possible standard throughout the year
- Build and maintain positive relationships with clients through professional service delivery
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure efficient scheduling and completion of works
