The Job
An established arboricultural business in Redditch is looking for Climbing Arborists and Tree Surgeons at all experience levels, from newly qualified climbers through to experienced professionals. This is an opportunity to build your skills, work outdoors and develop your career in arboriculture. Whether you are just starting out or already an experienced climber, there are opportunities to progress and gain further practical experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out tree climbing and aerial operations
- Undertake tree pruning, maintenance and removal
- Work alongside experienced arborists and ground teams
- Use and maintain arboricultural tools and equipment
- Work across a variety of sites and environments
- Follow safe working practices
- Develop climbing techniques and practical skills through experience and training

The Package
- Newly Qualified Climber: £23,000 per annum, with up to 12 months' on site experience
- Intermediate Climber: £30,000 per annum, with 1–3 years' climbing experience
- Experienced Climber: £36,400 per annum, with a minimum of 3 years' climbing experience

Candidate Requirements
All applicants must hold a minimum of an NVQ Level 2, Scottish NVQ Level 2, or an equivalent qualification relevant to the role applied for. Candidates must also have the legal right to work in the UK or hold a valid visa permitting employment.
