A dairy production facility is looking for a Production Operative to join the team within a busy manufacturing environment. This is a hands-on role focused around carton machinery and Tetra Pak production processes, helping ensure production runs efficiently while maintaining high standards across the site. Alongside daily production duties, the role will also involve supporting the wider team and stepping into a supervisory position when needed. Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor carton and Tetra Pak production machinery
- Help ensure production targets and quality standards are met
- Support the day-to-day running of production within the dairy facility
- Carry out machine checks, changeovers, and basic fault finding
- Maintain food safety, hygiene, and health & safety standards
- Assist with workflow coordination and production planning
- Support and supervise production staff when required
- Help improve efficiency and productivity across the shift
The Candidate
- Previous experience within food, dairy, or milk production
- Experience operating carton machinery and/or Tetra Pak systems
- Good understanding of food manufacturing and hygiene standards
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication and organisational skills
- Previous supervisory experience, or confidence stepping into a leadership role
- Practical, reliable, and proactive approach to work
- Good attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Candidate Requirements
