Our client is looking for a Principal / Associate Ecological Consultant to join their expanding team. This is a fantastic opportunity to take a leadership role in ecological consultancy, working on impactful projects across multiple sectors. A growing ecological consultancy known for its innovative approach and commitment to delivering high-quality, sustainable solutions. The company offers opportunities to lead on high-profile projects while working in a collaborative environment with diverse teams from Arboriculture, Forestry, and Landscape Design.
The Candidate:
- Degree in Ecology, Environmental Science or a related field
- Full membership of CIEEM (or working towards it)
- You will hold at least one protected species licence (bats or dormice preferred) and possess a strong understanding of UK environmental legislation and the planning system
- Expertise in managing complex projects, survey teams and site appraisals is essential
- Proficient in GIS mapping and ecological technology advancements
- Chartered CIEEM membership or nearing completion is desirable
The Package:
- Salary up to £60,000 DOE
- Working Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday (40 hours per week)
- 26 days annual leave (+ bank holidays)
