An opportunity has arisen for a Mechanical Engineer to join a well established and respected machinery business operating across the North of England and South of Scotland. This role involves the servicing, maintenance, and repair of a wide range of agricultural, construction and groundcare equipment. You will play a key role in ensuring machinery is operating efficiently and reliably, both in the workshop and on customer sites.

Key responsibilities

  • Diagnosing, servicing, and repairing mechanical faults across a range of machinery
  • Carrying out routine maintenance and inspections to manufacturer standards
  • Preparing and installing new equipment for customers
  • Maintaining accurate service records and documentation
  • Providing a high level of customer service both on site and in the workshop
  • Ensuring all work is completed in line with health and safety requirements
