We are looking for a proactive, FACTs-qualified Account Manager to manage and grow a portfolio of clients across the agricultural sector. This remote role requires working within a three-hour radius of the Norfolk office. The role combines technical expertise with account management and sales, supporting farmers and agronomists to implement tailored bio‐stimulant solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and develop client relationships, acting as the main point of contact.
- Conduct farm visits to advise on soil fertility and bio‐stimulant use, monitor performance, and identify additional needs.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the agricultural sector.
- Manage the full sales cycle, achieving sales targets and contributing to business growth.
- Provide expert advice leveraging FACTs qualifications and technical knowledge.
- Stay updated on industry trends, product innovations, and competitor activity.
- Prepare regular reports on sales, client interactions, and market conditions.
- Collaborate with internal teams including product development, logistics, customer service, and marketing.
The Candidate
- FACTs-qualified (Fertiliser Advisers Certification and Training Scheme).
- 2–3 years' experience in agricultural sales, account management, or agronomy, ideally with knowledge of bio‐stimulants.
- Strong understanding of agricultural practices, soil science, and crop management.
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Self‐driven, results‐oriented, and confident working independently.
- Competent in CRM software and other relevant sales tools.
Candidate Requirements
- All applicants must hold a minimum of an NVQ Level 2, Scottish NVQ Level 2, or an equivalent qualification relevant to the role.
- Candidates must also have the legal right to work in the UK or hold a valid visa permitting employment.
