Leading the design and delivery of sports surface and field-of-play infrastructure projects from concept through construction.
Managing multidisciplinary design teams across all project stages (RIBA 0–7).
Coordinating technical outputs across multiple disciplines including drainage, irrigation, turf systems and lighting.
Developing, reviewing and approving design documentation, drawings and specifications.
Supporting project managers with scope definition, programmes and resource planning.
Providing technical input during tendering and construction phases.
Acting as the primary design interface with clients, consultants and contractors.
Championing sustainable, innovative and performance-led design solutions.
Ensuring compliance with international sporting federation standards.
Managing design risk, QA/QC processes and continuous improvement initiatives.

With a long established global reputation, the business delivers high profile national and international projects across sports, recreation and urban environments, working with elite sporting bodies, developers and public sector clients.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Sports Engineering or a related discipline.
Professional accreditation (Chartered Engineer, Architect or equivalent) desirable.
Minimum 5 years' experience delivering sports facilities, stadiums or complex landscape/infrastructure projects.
Proven experience coordinating multidisciplinary design teams.
Strong BIM and federated design workflow experience.
Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D and related design software.
Strong leadership, communication and mentoring skills.
Client-focused with strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.
Interest in sport, sustainability and design innovation.
Salary: £45,000–£60,000 DOE.
