Gardener Gardener – Wiltshire - £30,000
The Job:
We are seeking an enthusiastic Gardener to join a private estate in the beautiful Wiltshire countryside. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled horticulturalist or gardener who takes pride in maintaining attractive gardens and outdoor spaces to a high standard. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day to day care and maintenance of the gardens and grounds, ensuring they remain well presented throughout the year.
Key responsibilities:
- Maintaining lawns, borders, hedges, shrubs and planted areas
- Seasonal planting, pruning, weeding and general horticultural duties
- Lawn mowing, edging and other grounds maintenance tasks
- Operating and maintaining gardening machinery and equipment safely
- Monitoring plant health and managing pests and diseases where appropriate
- Maintaining high standards of presentation across the grounds
- Working independently and as part of a wider estate team when required
The Candidate:
- Previous experience in professional gardening, horticulture or estate grounds maintenance
- Good practical horticultural knowledge and an understanding of seasonal gardening requirements
- Competent in the use of gardening tools, machinery and equipment
- A proactive approach, with excellent attention to detail and pride in their work
- Reliable, organised and able to work independently
- A full UK driving licence would be advantageous
The Package:
- Salary of £30,000 per annum DOE

Please note: Accommodation is not provided, so candidates must be able to arrange their own accommodation and commute to the estate.
Candidate Requirements
All applicants must hold a minimum of an NVQ Level 2, Scottish NVQ Level 2, or an equivalent qualification relevant to the role applied for. Candidates must also have the legal right to work in the UK or hold a valid visa permitting employment.
