Pig Farm Worker – Farrowing House Operative – Staffordshire – £32,000 + Bonus + Accommodation
The Job
Two positions available at a recently modernised 1,800-sow breeding unit in Staffordshire. The role focuses on daily care of sows and piglets, assisting with farrowing and maintaining the highest standards of welfare, hygiene and biosecurity.

The Candidate
- Previous experience working with pigs (farrowing experience desirable)
- Strong understanding of pig husbandry and commitment to animal welfare
- Reliable, hardworking, and able to maintain high standards
- Good team player with excellent communication skills
- Willingness to work on a weekend rota
- Experience in modern indoor pig production systems
- Knowledge of biosecurity and health & safety practices
- Flexibility and willingness to develop skills through training
