We are recruiting for a Farm Manager to lead turf and wild‑flower production in York. The role requires strong horticultural expertise, commercial acumen and proven leadership in an agricultural setting. The successful candidate will manage day‑to‑day operations, drive production performance, uphold food safety and environmental standards, and continue to develop a specialist growing operation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee day‑to‑day farm operations across multiple production areas.

  • Experience managing teams and coordinating seasonal workloads.
  • Knowledge of irrigation systems, crop performance monitoring and environmental management.
  • Strong organisational, planning and commercial decision‑making skills.
  • Agricultural, horticultural or land‑based qualification desirable.
  • Experience within turf production, amenity horticulture or specialist cropping advantageous.
  • Machinery operation, maintenance and farm infrastructure management experience beneficial.

  • Full UK driving licence.
