Farm Engineer -Telford -£45,000 The Job We are working with a progressive farming business looking to recruit a capable Farm Engineer to support the maintenance, repair and development of on farm machinery and equipment. This is a hands on role suited to someone practical, dependable and comfortable working in a busy agricultural environment where kit needs to run right first time especially through peak periods. This is a workshop and field-based role, requiring work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions. The position suits someone who takes pride in keeping machinery running smoothly and supporting the wider operation through the farming calendar. Key Responsibilities Carry out routine servicing, maintenance, and repairs across a wide range of agricultural machinery and equipment Diagnose faults and ensure timely, effective fixes to minimise downtime Inspect, remove, and replace components in line with manufacturer guidelines Support machinery builds, modifications, and improvements within the workshop Assist with fabrication and machining of parts where required Test mechanical, low-voltage electrical, and pneumatic systems, recording findings accurately Maintain clear and accurate documentation of work carried out Plan and prioritise workload efficiently, particularly during busy seasonal periods Report faults, breakdowns, or safety concerns promptly Work in line with all health
